Our unique patented post-tensioning connection system is suitable for a wide range of construction applications, from house extensions to multi-level commercial and residential buildings. It integrates into engineered timber wall panels with factory precision, creating a cost-effective and prefabricated building system that is fast to assemble.
The engineered timber wall panels provide exceptional bracing and compression properties. The steel post tension tie-down anchoring system resists lateral loads caused by wind and earthquake activity.
By applying the practices and processes we learned in the automotive manufacturing industry over the past decade, coupled with our experience in the prefabricated and modular construction field, we have created a unique system that our competitors cannot match.
Your building will be installed to lock-up stage within days of delivering a TBS panelised system to your site. Our system includes:
Our system allows for flexible architectural design, giving you the option of large span interiors, double-height ceilings and full span glazing.
The TBS system gives you the security and reliability that you need across the construction lifecycle. Save time and cost without compromising quality.
On site preparations can take place whilst your panels are being manufactured, therefore reducing the time and project costs associated with factors like crane time and traffic management.
Working with a prefabricated system eliminates the need for scaffolding and delivers a building to lock-up stage within days, reducing onsite safety risks.
We use sustainable and high-performance materials sourced mostly from Australian suppliers, ensuring a quality product with a lower carbon footprint. We locally manufacture our system on automotive-style linear production line at our factory in Dandenong South, Victoria.
TBS conducted an extensive R&D program which has validated the TBS system for class 2 multi-residential buildings.
Our light weight timber flooring system exceeds class 2 BCA sound insulation requirements.
In order to meet stringent international standards, we successfully performed full scale acoustics testing in accordance with the New Zealand Building Code Clause G6.
We hold a strong track record in meeting and exceeding target requirements.
At TBS, we continue to improve the safety and quality of our system. Our system achieves 90-90-90* FRL with fire sprinkler system and post-fire structural integrity. We recently conducted a successful AS 1530.4:2014 fire test, and as a result, our prefabricated wall system now includes a pre-finished cladding option with a 90/90/90 FRL.
We supply BRANZ and WGE fire compliance documentation.
The team at TBS is proud to deliver safe, quality, compliant and fit for purpose products to the prefabrication construction industry.
